Ab Circle Pro Reviews – Does Ab Circle Pro Really Work?

Ab Circle Pro
John Davenport Wrote:

When you watch the infomercial for the Ab Circle Pro you can’t help being impressed. It looks like a lot of fun to workout with this machine. And the models who appear in the infomercial are so fit that the temptation level immediately skyrockets.

But before you rush off to spend $200 (the full price of this machine) ask yourself this: does the Ab Circle Pro really work?

Well, the jury’s still out on that but there is a lot of doubt in my mind for a number of reasons:

1. The Ab Circle Pro reviews I have read online are far from positive. Sure, some are happy with it, but it seems like most people have found at least one problem with it.

Some of the common complaints are that the knee pads can be painful, that the machine tends to breakdown, and that you don’t really get a good workout out of it. Not the kind of thing that makes you feel like buying this product.

2. However, the real reason why I believe that Ab Circle Pro doesn’t work is that I believe it defies science and the way the body really operates. What the infomercial implies is that by working out with this machine you can lose belly fat. This is virtually impossible because you can’t lose stomach fat by doing targeted exercises.

It has long been proven that spot fat reduction is a myth. You can’t burn fat from a specific body part by doing targeted exercises. We burn fat from our body as a single unit. So, I just don’t believe this machine can work.

Furthermore, I believe that you can get an awesome workout doing exercises on a mat at your home or with other, much less expensive, equipment like a swiss ball for instance.

Of course, the decision is yours, but I recommend reading this complete Ab Circle Pro Review before making up your mind.

Ab Circle Pro Opinion 1

Ab Circle Pro
John Davenport Wrote:

The Ab Circle Pro is one of the most heavily advertised pieces of fitness equipment in the world today. It is showing in major TV channels and is selling like hotcakes. I believe that it’s so popular due to the impressive infomercial it has and the way it looks. It truly appears as if it’s fun to use.

However, infomercials tend to paint a much rosier picture than what the reality really is and so the question is how different is this product from the way it’s portrayed: does it really work or is Ab Circle Pro a scam?

I did some digging and read a lot of user reviews. Opinions were mixed. Some reported good results with this machine, while others hated it. However, there were a few problems which repeated themselves:

The knee pads – Some people reported that the knee pads weren’t as comfortable as they should be. Indeed, some people said they were actually painful. The way the Ab Circle Pro work doesn’t really target the abs for everyone. Because you grab the handlebar some people said they felt the strain more in their arms than in their abs. The machine isn’t of the highest quality. Some people said it actually broke after a short while.

Above all, you should know that there is no way you can really burn off belly fat by doing just ab exercises. This is simply not the case. You can’t burn stomach fat from a specific body part by doing targeted exercises. This is one of the most common fitness myths in the world.

Our body burns fat from all over regardless of which body part we workout. This means you need to focus on full body training and do the exercises which burn the most body fat. Stomach exercises are simply not the most effective fat burning workouts. This is the truth.

So, you won’t get flat abs by working out with the Ab Circle Pro or any other machine. You may strengthen your abs a bit but they won’t show until you burn off the excess belly fat. To do that you need to workout your entire body and watch what you eat.

Only you can decide whether it’s worth to pay $200 for the Ab Circle. If so, then make sure you use it a lot. I wish you good luck.

Ab Circle Reviews – Why the Ab Circle Pro Won’t Work

Ab Circle Pro
John Davenport Wrote:

If you watch TV you may have seen infomercials for the Ab Circle Pro fitness machine. It has an impressive infomercial with a lot of beautiful models and a stunning presentor called Jennifer Nicole Lee.

When you see the infomercial everything looks great. It seems like this machine is really fun and can help you burn off the belly fat in a short time.

But infomercial claims do not equal reality. I put it before you that the Ab Circle Pro doesn’t work and indeed cannot work as the infomercial suggests.

First, there are numerous complaints about this product:

1. The knee pads are far from comfortable indeed, they can actually hurt when you’re using the machine which makes it unlikely to do long workouts on it.

2. The way you position yourself in the machine places more strain on your arms than your abs.

3. The circular motion actually creates a momentum force similar to a pendulum which can keep you moving from side to side with no muscle stimulation.

4. People with back problems may find it hard and even painful to assume the workout position in the Ab Circle Pro.

But the biggest reason why the Ab Circle Pro doesn’t work is that it can’t help you to burn belly fat. No ab machine can.

Your can’t burn fat from a specific body part by doing targeted exercises. Our body doesn’t work that way. You burn fat from all over your body as a single unit. This means that doing abs exercises doesn’t burn belly fat.

Indeed, belly workouts are considered less effective at fat burning than many other strength workouts.

Therefore, the suggestion that the Ab Circle can help you burn off belly fat fast is not true. It just won’t happen.

To really get flat abs you need to workout your entire body and to follow a healthy diet. There is no other way. No gimmicks, gadgets or tricks.

Ab Circle Pro
John Davenport Wrote:

The Ab Circle Pro can on the market with a big launch, promoted heavily on TV and online. It quickly became a hot seller, mainly because it looked like an amazing piece of fitness equipment.

However, soon the rosy picture painted in the infomercials began to get tainted. No longer was it possible to ignore the fact that a lot of user reviews of the Ab Circle Pro were far from positive. It seemed as if this machine, which looked so great in the infomercial, was in fact no so great after all.

Here are just a few of the Ab Circle Pro Complaints that I read:

1. It isn’t made of such high quality material. In fact, some people reported missing parts or that the machine broke up when they used it.

2. The knee pads aren’t comfortable to use. In fact, some people reported that the knee pads were actually painful to use as the padding wasn’t good enough.

3. The side to side motion of the Ab Circle Pro creates a lot of momentum. This momentum can actually reduce the effectiveness of your workout because if you move from side to side with the force of this momentum, you’re really not working out. The movement is done without any effort on your part.

4. The position you assume when you work with the ab circle pro may harm your back. You have to make sure your back and neck are straight when working out with it.

5. You don’t really get such a powerful workout with the AbCirclePro. Some people actually said they feel more strain in their arms than in their abs. As to the cardio, I imagine you can get a better workout by running or even walking fast.

On the other hand, there are reviews which say good things about this machine. Some users were happy with it.

The question is whether the Ab Circle Pro is worth the $200 price tag. Only you can answer this question for yourself. I imagine it has much to do with how often you feel that you will work out with it.

Ab Circle Pro
Shane Crafton Wrote:

When purchasing any weight loss product, it is important to do your research. Many people are exchanging their opinions about Ab Circle on DietBlogTalk.com

Review Summary

The Ab Circle is a fairly new piece of workout equipment promoted by a self described celebrity trainer named Jennifer Nicole Lee. This product works by having people kneel upon it and swing their hips in a circular motion. The company states that this motion will trim away love handles and that the device may be manipulated for lower body workouts as well. Some people may find that this equipment looks confusing to use, but Lee has created an instructional workout DVD that is shipped out with each order of this product. The company behind this device definitely makes some enticing promises and even claims that users may lose 10 pounds in the first two weeks of use. Such a promise may make some people pull the trigger and purchase this product, but those consumers who would prefer to verify such claims should continue to read below.

Product at a Glance

Promoters of the Ab Circle Pro continuously tout that people may gain ab results without doing a single sit up or crunch. This is because people are up off of the floor while using this product and actually kneeling over. This position is said to protect the back and neck, which the company claims may be stressed or pulled during traditional abdominal workouts.

Product in Focus

The best way to describe this product is as a circular device that has two knee pads and two handles. To use, people place their knees on the pads and grab onto the handles. The pads are attached to a circular traction that allows people to swing their legs back and forth. The company notes that this friction free tract has a patent pending.

This circular motion is meant to tone the abs while also providing a cardiovascular workout. As mentioned above, the device may be manipulated to adapt to other positions and moves, and we assume that this is all explained in the DVD featuring Lee. In addition, this machine has three different resistance levels, so that it is suitable for people of any fitness level.

The Ab Circle is advertised to last a lifetime, which seems to be due to the fact that the product is built with what the makers call gym quality steel. Despite its purported durability, the company assures consumers that this equipment can be easily folded down and stored so that it does not take up much space in the home.

Website

The product website is a bit basic. There is no cited research or documented proof to show this device was studied carefully. This does make us wonder where the company got their stats to claim it may lead to 10 pounds of weight loss in two weeks. While the product description on this site is pretty short in content, the company does post a video showing people how this machine is meant to work.

People interested in the Ab Circle Pro can sign up for a 30 day trial on this site. The cost of this trial is $14.95, but the company also charges a $34.50 fee for shipping and handling. The total price of this machine is about $250, and the company does have a complicated return policy with several conditions.

Positives

·    Machine comes with a workout DVD

·    Consumers may opt for a 30 day trial to test product

Negatives

·    No cited research posted for consumer review at this time

·    Not many testimonials posted on product site

·    Machine is rather expensive considering what it is

·    Machine does look awkward to use

Final Thoughts

There is no question that the midsection is a trouble area for many dieters. Using a product like this may help tone abdominals if used regularly, but we are not confident that this device can lead to significant, quick weight loss as the company claims. In most cases, sustained weight loss does take time, patience and diligence. A healthy diet and regular exercise has been a proven method to lose weight. If the Ab Circle provides people with a challenging workout, as advertised, then it may aid in this process. However, results may not be as fast as the manufacturer claims.  We suggest that those people interested in this product click on the links above. The links will take you to other articles that discuss this machine and may provide some important product information.
