How the Shark Vx3 Cordless Sweeper Can Help Clean Your Home
Which helpful item do you reach for when your toddler upends a whole bowl of spaghetti right onto your clean kitchen floor? This is not a mess that your vacuum cleaner or carpet sweeper can handle, but it is no worse than a handful of pencil shavings to your Shark VX3 Cordless Sweeper. The Shark VX3 Cordless Sweeper is a rechargeable cordless floor cleaner that is designed to handle the projects that your regular vacuum cleaner would spit dust bunnies over. If you are looking for the perfect floor cleaning tool to help keep your home sparkling clean, look no further. The Shark VX3 is designed with today’s homes in mind.
Lightweight and Easy to Use
Many individuals are tired of trying to maneuver an oversized vacuum cleaner around the house. Do your stairs never get vacuumed because the vacuum itself is too heavy to carry up the stairs? Have you considered buying a second sweeper just for the second floor? The Shark VX3 is a featherweight 4 pounds, which is light enough to lift in one hand and certainly no problem to carry up and down the stairs. How much easier does that make your life?
You’re not tied to the electrical outlet.
The Shark VX3 is cordless, so the days of plugging and unplugging the machine and trying to maneuver around the electrical cord are over. The battery holds a generous 90 minutes worth of charge, which is more time than you need to clean up even the most serious mess. By using the Shark VX3 you do not have to move furniture to get to electrical outlets, or pull out the extension cord for those hard to reach places that no outlet is quite close enough for plugging in. Plug in the charger, and never have to worry about finding a place for power again.
The Shark VX3 is powered by a rechargeable battery that has a useable life of about a year before it needs replacing.
Swivel handle makes it easy to maneuver.
The light weight is only one factor which makes the Shark VX3 easy to maneuver. The Shark features a patented swivel steering suspension that lets you push the vacuum in any direction, wheel it around corners and furniture edges and get in close to walls to sweep up all the dust and dirt. Try that with an oversized vacuum cleaner!
Get rid of your kids’ best excuse to get out of vacuuming.
Many kids have discovered a never-fail excuse to get out of doing the vacuuming. “Hey, mom, we’re out of vacuum cleaner bags!” That will never happen with the Shark VX3. Instead of vacuum cleaner bags, everything you sweep up ends up in an easy to empty dust cup in the bottom of the sweeper. The dust cup has an added bonus as well: you don’t have all that dust and dirt and germs sitting in a dark vacuum cleaner bag to spread every time you turn on the machine.
Even better, you never have to touch the dirt. The dust cup ejects at the push of a button, and you can carry it to the nearest dust bin still attached to the long handle.
Hardwoods to Shag Carpeting, the Shark VX3 does it all
The VX3 has two speed settings to handle any type of surface from hardwoods to shag carpeting. You can easy flip between the two, unlike other sweepers that complicate things by making you switch heads or flip the cleaner over, or pop in a beater bar. Vinyl floors, tile floors, carpet and rugs, the Shark can handle cleaning any or all of the above.
Save your back with the patented Backsaver bending handle
One of the best features of the Shark VX3 is the patented long handle that bends in the middle to get under furniture. With the Shark, there’s no need to stoop and bend in order to get the cleaner under the coffee table or the couch. The handle does the bending for you, so that you do not have to strain your back.
The Shark VX3 is omnivorous.
Remember that spaghetti? You would never try to suck that up with your traditional vacuum cleaner, but the Shark is designed to handle the messes that your regular vacuum cleaner can’t tackle. Sawdust, nuts and bolts and messy food spills are all well within its power.
The Shark VX3 is not meant to be a replacement for a standard vacuum cleaner. Rather, it’s a great house-cleaning tool that takes care of the things that your vacuum cleaner doesn’t. Use it for spot cleaning, tight spots and cleaning multiple surfaces. The Shark VX3 is clearly the best choice for one of those jobs.
Comparison of Sweeper Mops in the Marketplace
I’m not a big fan of disposable products. But every once in a while, I like to try the newest products which are out there. Thus far, my experience with wet pads for sweeper mops has been dismal.
Usually, I vacuum my hardwood floors to pick up all the dirt. Then I use the mop and bucket to clean the floors. What I was looking for was a sweeper mop to use for touch-ups, in between cleanings. One thing I found out is that the wet pads cannot remove stains that well. The pads are flat and cannot cut through any type of stain that is embedded into the nooks and crannies within and between tiles, no matter how much pressure you apply. If you apply too much pressure, the pole just bends.
Not only was the wet pad ineffective at picking up clumps of dirt, but the wet pads also leave residue on the tiles that act as a dirt magnet! In no time, the newly cleaned floor was dirty again. It seems that the residue left on the floor actually attracted dirt from shoes and socks.
Moose River’s Microfiber Mop- the Better Solution
Don’t pay attention to all the glitz and glamour that advertisements promise. What I want is functionality in my mop. Thus, I would like to tell you about a new mop which I have discovered, which utilizes revolutionary microfiber technology to maximize your cleaning power.
Unlike other leading brands of sweeper mops, the Moose River sweeper utilizes re-useable and machine-washable microfiber cloth. Disposable wet cloths (with their flat scrubbing strips) are generally not as effective as the Moose River microfiber fabric. This is because Moose River’s new microfiber material is a revolutionary product which comprises billions of tiny loops and hooks that helps to dig into the grime and maximize your cleaning power.
Why do I like this new mop so much? Because Moose River really paid attention to detail when they designed this mop. First of all, the handle is sturdy and completely adjustable. It can be set anywhere from 30″ long to 60″ long. Secondly, the base is constructed out of a 360 degree swivel joint, which allows for access to hard-to-reach areas. Finally, not only are the pads disposable, but they provide extraordinary cleaning power for both dry and wet mopping.
Dry Use
When it’s dry, the microfiber mop completely takes the place of all those anti-static sweepers that are so heavily advertised. The problem with the anti-static sweepers is that your hard-earned money goes directly into the garbage. This Micro Fibre mop is not only machine washable, but it is also a dust magnet that’s absolutely fantastic for dry sweeping. The dust mop can not only pick up dust, but also dog and cat hair. The handle on the Micro Fibre mop is completely adjustable (ranging from 30″ to 60″) so that it can get under all the beds and pick up all that dog hair and those dust bunnies. You’ll have no problems getting underneath the stove, or into any tight corners to get all the fuzz, fluff and other stuff you normally have to sweep before you mop. It’s great for houses will a lot of tables and chairs because you can go in between the legs without having to move the chairs out from the table.
The Micro Fibre head of the mop is held on by Velcro; when you’re finished, just peel the dust magnet off, throw it on your front steps or out on your balcony and give it a shake. That breaks the static electrical charge and cleans it so you can sweep the floors again, another day. You don’t have to wash your broom every time you use it – you don’t have to wash this every time you use it. Wash it in your laundry ocassionally, and it’ll last for years.
Wet Use
Scuff marks and crayon marks are just a couple of really tough cleaning problems in anyone’s house, whether you have ceramic tiles or laminate flooring. After a dry mopping, you can prepare wet mophead. All you have to do is to run it under the tap in the kitchen sink until it’s soaking wet with hot or warm water, and squeeze out about half of the water out. If you’ve ever used a sponge mop you know that they leave streaks. Micro Fibre cleaning is different. The loops and hooks on the surface of the Micro Fibre cloth literally grab onto the edges of the scuff mark. You don’t need to apply much pressure to make scuff marks dissapear!
Cost Comparison
Disposables generate a lot of waste, but they also cost you a significant amount of money. Not only will Moose River give you better cleaning power, but they will also save you money!
Here’s how:
LEADING BRAND: $10 purchase + $30 for dry cloth refills (1 year) + $30 for wet cloth refills (1 year)
= $70 / 1 year
MOOSE RIVER’S MOP: $45.41 + UNLIMITED USES FOR 5 YEARS
= $45.41 / 5 years!!!!!!!!
Due to its low cost, re-useable nature, microfiber cleaning technology, and convenient design features, Moose River has introduced a fully functional mop for an extremely attractive price. When it comes to cleaning, Moose River’s mop wins over the competition hands down!
Swiver Sweeper : Should you Buy Swiver Sweeper?
Are you thinking to buy a Swivel Sweeper? From the TV, Swivel Sweeper is advertised to have following features: cordless, lightweight, works on all type of floor, 360 degrees base, powerful, rotating brushes that pick up dirt and messes from all 4 sides. Whoa! Doesn’t it just sound like a dream tool? Well, not quite.
I’ve always told myself that I will not buy another more product from infomercials. However, the advertisement convinced me that I just have to get one unit. I ordered from a credible online dealer with buy 1 free 1 deal. As soon as I received Swivel Sweeper I give it a try. Basically, Swivel Sweeper works just as advertised. However, not all surfaces are created equal, and Swivel Sweeper is only effective on hard surface. It is not suitable for uneven surface such as rug and cushion. These surfaces will cause your Swivel Sweeper spit out its entire contents all over the place. For these areas, it is best to use your regular vacuum.
I also learned the hard way about Swivel Sweeper’s batteries. If you read other reviews, you will find that many people found that the battery is not as powerful as it was in the beginning after few months. I encountered the same issue with Swivel Sweeper. Since I have two units, I carefully study the battery manual and never have this problem again with the second unit. According to Swivel Sweeper’s manual, charge time is dependent on the amount of power left in the batter after its last usage. They recommend that you charge the battery 6-6 hours after its power completely deplete. In addition, battery cannot be left in charger longer than 24 hours. Many people completely overlook the manual and start complaining about the battery quality.
On the other hand, I really like Swivel Sweeper as it is extremely light – only two pounds. It’s so light that even a small kid can handle the job easily. In addition, you do not have to bend over like you did with other cordless vacuums. As mentioned earlier, it works effectively on hardwood floors. Swivel Sweeper picks up cat friskers, car fur, crumbs, dust bunnies and debris effortlessly. The four side rotating brushes allow you to clean the normally hard to reach area.
In short, Swivel Sweeper does exactly as what is advertised. If you are armed with realistic expectation, I highly recommend it.
